Allpa Wayra holds the meeting of these two forces: the grounded presence of earth and the freedom of air. One carries weight, memory and form. The other moves, shifts and opens what has become fixed.
Built through layers of clay, pigment, wax, brass and gold, the work holds both forces at once. Matter gathers, breaks open and moves across the surface. Gold appears as a thread of something already present, a quiet force revealed through movement.
Allpa Wayra speaks to the part of you that knows how to stand firmly within yourself while remaining free to move. To take up space. To trust your sensitivity as intelligence. To allow life to shape you while holding your own position.
