AYNI

The quiet authority of standing fully within yourself.

AYNI emerged from a moment of returning to a relationship and to the woman standing there now.

There is a particular strength in meeting something familiar from a new position. The relationship may carry its history, its memories and its patterns, while you arrive differently. More aware of your own ground. Able to meet what is in front of you while remaining fully present within yourself.

That movement lives throughout AYNI.

Indian ink creates gestures that feel almost calligraphic: sweeping, returning, meeting. Avocado ink and coffee bring softer, earth-bound traces into the composition. Some marks carry weight; others seem to dissolve into the surface. Together they form a visual language of exchange, two energies existing in relationship, each holding its own presence.

The Quechua principle of ayni speaks to this reciprocity: a living exchange in which giving and receiving belong to the same movement.

This work holds the moment when relationship becomes spacious enough for both.

A meeting from wholeness.
